Holiday Great Ocean Road’s (HGOR) multi-award winning service manages a range of outstanding homes in iconic locations along the Great Ocean Road.

Winners of the Victorian Tourism Award for Specialised Tourism Services, we aim to deliver the highest level of property management and customer service.

Holiday Great Ocean Road was established in 2002 by Joy Evans.

Joy was recognised as a leader and innovator in the tourism industry. She had over 30 years’ experience in setting up and operating her own multi award winning holiday accommodation property Johanna Seaside Cottages, one of the first holiday accommodation properties in the region.

With the area growing in popularity as a tourism destination, in the late 90’s Joy identified a gap in the market for a different management style for privately owned holiday houses to the typical ‘Real Estate’ rental. Based on the model of her successful hosted accommodation business at Johanna, Joy established HGOR. The business has grown progressively over the years, to over 60 properties under management along the Great Ocean Road.

Joy passed away in 2017, both businesses are now owned and successfully managed by her children and our amazing HGOR team.

experience in both tourism and property management.

Davina Marriner

Team Member

Davina has been a team member since 2010. Davina leads the guest services,

accommodation bookings and enquiries, including taking and processing bookings and guest information.

Megan Giles

Team Member

Megan has been part of the team since 2011, and has an accounts and administration role in the business. Megan prepares the monthly homeowner accounts and statements, accounts payable and invoicing procedures.

Thomas Allinson

Team Member

Thomas is the newest addition to the team, and deals with all Property Management related items. Coming from a property management background, Thomas’ role includes, customer service, maintenance, management of complex issues and onboarding of new properties.

Ellie DiCecco

Team Member

Ellie joined the team in 2021 in a reservations and guest services role. With a strong hospitality background, Ellie’s role is reservations and guest services, including phone and email enquiries, accommodation bookings, and guest information.

Sharee Hart

Team Member

Having made the sea change move during Covid from Melbourne to Apollo Bay, Sharee joined the team in 2022. Coming from a real estate administration and property management background, Sharee’s role includes guest services, maintenance coordination, and enquiries.
